The "downside" is the weight; you "feel" these on your feet. I recommend them for anyone building a sneaker rotation. I don't recommend them for travel or all-day standing. Just got these in hand. This specific Jordan Air Force 1 collaboration feels premium. Comparing it to my regular Jordans, it’s less about basketball performance and more about street style. On foot, the ankle support is fantastic. I love the padded collar. However, they do run a bit large/narrow – consider going half a size down! Overall, if you prioritize a statement piece with that iconic AF1 build, this is it. Not for wide-footers, though. Who might want to skip it? If you prioritize ultimate, cloud-like comfort above all else – maybe look at something with more modern foam. Also, if you need a super lightweight shoe for all-day city exploring, the heft might bother you. It's a style and statement piece first, a comfort-tech shoe second (after break-in, though, it's fine!). Putting them on, the fit is true to size for me. The comfort is immediate—the padded collar and that air sole unit give a "really" familiar, supportive feel. They’re not "lightweight" sneakers by any means, but you know that going into a classic "Jordan Air Force 1". For all-day wear? They're great, but maybe not for a long walk.
