The AF1 has a chunkier, more casual profile (which I prefer for all-day wear). It's a style staple, for sure. On feet, the "Jordan Air Force 1" gives you that "iconic" look & feel. The support is great, but don't expect "cloud-like" comfort—it's firm. For around "$150 USD", you're paying for the "name", the history, & that "bulletproof" construction. If you want a shoe you can beat up & still look fresh, this is it. If you prioritize modern, lightweight tech, look elsewhere. For me? It's a classic for a "reason". On-foot feel update: After a full day, the cushioning is… adequate. The air unit in the heel is noticeable, but the forefoot is firm. They're not uncomfortable, just "substantial". You feel the weight (which isn't crazy, but it's there). The leather started to crease naturally – which I actually like on an AF1. It adds character. Just know, it's part of the journey with this model.
