The price ($150) is fair for what you get: an icon. They're not for everyone – if you dislike heavy shoes or prefer minimalist design, pass. But for a reliable, classic sneaker? Can't go wrong. Comparing it to, say, a Jordan 1 – this is a different beast. The "jordan air force 1" is bulkier and offers more coverage around the ankle. The toe box is roomier. It's less of a basketball shoe in feel nowadays and more of a lifestyle staple. If you want that classic '80s hoop look, this is it. The Air unit is there, but don't expect Zoom Air responsiveness. On feet now, and the fit is true to size – a bit roomy in the toe box which I actually prefer. The cushioning? It's firm, classic Air Force 1 style. Don't expect modern bounce, it's more about stability. The ankle collar provides decent support. They "do" have some weight to them – not the lightest sneaker, for sure. But that's part of the AF1 feel, you know?
