It's a perfect first Jordan, or a cornerstone piece. You literally cannot go wrong with this in your rotation. Finally, my custom-designed Jordan Air Force 1s arrived. The unboxing was super exciting - seeing your own vision come to life! On feet, they fit like any other AF1 - reliable and comfortable. The look is 100% unique, which is the biggest pro. The main con is the cost and wait time from Nike By You. Compared to a GR (General Release) Jordan, it's a personal statement. Honestly, for the price (around $160+), it’s worth it if you want something nobody else has. Not recommended if you just need a quick, affordable sneaker. It’s a project for true enthusiasts. On-foot feel update: After a full day, the cushioning is… adequate. The air unit in the heel is noticeable, but the forefoot is firm. They're not uncomfortable, just "substantial". You feel the weight (which isn't crazy, but it's there). The leather started to crease naturally – which I actually like on an AF1. It adds character. Just know, it's part of the journey with this model. Putting these Jordan Air Force 1s on for the first time... yeah, the break-in period is real. They feel a bit bulky compared to, say, a Jordan 1 Low – but that's the AF1 DNA. I love the clean design of this colorway; it films really well. Great for casual fits. Downside? They're not the most breathable shoe for summer. Worth it for style, skip if you want a lightweight sneaker.
