It's less about court-inspired performance and more about foundational street style. It's bulkier, more substantial. The AJ1 feels more "athletic" in build, while the AF1 is pure streetwear heritage. Who might want to skip it? If you prioritize ultimate, cloud-like comfort above all else – maybe look at something with more modern foam. Also, if you need a super lightweight shoe for all-day city exploring, the heft might bother you.
