Compared to a Jordan 1, it's definitely more bulky & less sporty. Love it for the "attitude" it brings to a fit. Not the most flexible shoe, but for ~$150? A wardrobe staple, 100%. Who might want to skip it? If you prioritize ultimate, cloud-like comfort above all else – maybe look at something with more modern foam. Also, if you need a super lightweight shoe for all-day city exploring, the heft might bother you. It's a style and statement piece first, a comfort-tech shoe second (after break-in, though, it's fine!). On-foot feel update: After a full day, the cushioning is… adequate. The air unit in the heel is noticeable, but the forefoot is firm. They're not uncomfortable, just "substantial". You feel the weight (which isn't crazy, but it's there). The leather started to crease naturally – which I actually like on an AF1. It adds character. Just know, it's part of the journey with this model.
