If you're new to sneakers & want a reliable, iconic first Jordan... grab it. If you need a go-to, beater-friendly shoe that always looks good... it's perfect. Not for who? Runners, or anyone seeking a "cloud-like" modern sneaker experience. For $130, you're paying for the legend, not the tech. Comparing it to, say, a Jordan 1 – this is a different beast. The "jordan air force 1" is bulkier and offers more coverage around the ankle. The toe box is roomier. It's less of a basketball shoe in feel nowadays and more of a lifestyle staple. If you want that classic '80s hoop look, this is it. The Air unit is there, but don't expect Zoom Air responsiveness.
