I’d say it’s for someone who has the classic AF1s and wants a more avant-garde take. Not your first AF1, but a cool second. Who should "avoid" these? If you prioritize lightweight comfort above all, look elsewhere. Runners or people who are on their feet all day might find these too heavy and rigid. Also, if you have very wide feet, the standard fit might feel tight before breaking in. It's a classic, but not for every single foot or lifestyle. On foot for a few hours now. The break-in is real – they start a bit stiff but are molding to my foot. The arch support is decent for me. They feel secure. Walking on pavement, you feel that Air unit in the heel, but it's subtle. Again – not a performance shoe! It's a lifestyle icon, and for that role, the feel is exactly what I expected. For my fellow wide-footers, listen up. The "Jordan Air Force 1" has a roomy toe box which is a major "plus" for us. You won't feel cramped. However, that same roominess might mean folks with narrow feet could experience a bit of heel slip—so maybe consider sizing down half a size if that's you.
