The fit is true to size for me, with that snug, supportive feel the 11s are known for. The patent leather "does" need a little break-in, it's a bit stiff at first around the pinky toe. But the cushioning? Classic full-length Air? Super comfortable right out of the box. For a retro, the "mens air jordan 11 retro gamma blue" delivers a great, stable feel for all-day wear. Comparing it to other Jordans, the "air jordan 11 retro" "Gamma Blue" has a different vibe than, say, a Bred 4. It’s dressier, sleeker. The comfort is different too – less bulky, more streamlined. It’s a nice change of pace in a rotation. The fit is consistent with other 11s I've owned. A real benefit is its ability to bridge sporty and smart styles effortlessly. Who should maybe pass? If this is your first Jordan 11, I'd maybe suggest a more neutral colorway. If you hate worrying about sole yellowing, look at a solid rubber outsole model. Daily beaters? You might want something less premium. The "gamma blue" is a special occasion shoe in my book. Who might want to pass? If you need ultimate all-day comfort above all, some modern foam sneakers are better. If you prefer low-tops or more muted styles, this isn't it. Also, if you're rough on your shoes, the patent leather scuffs can be noticeable. It's a showpiece, not necessarily a daily beater for everyone.
