Nike air jordan 1 mid : I compared these directly to my Jordan 1 Highs [v90brfrh]

The height difference is noticeable on foot, giving a slightly different profile. The Mid feels a bit more "casual", less formal than the High. Materials are similar tier. It really comes down to your personal style preference & ankle coverage desire. For the price difference, the Mid offers incredible value in the Jordan series lineup. From a pure style perspective, the Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid kills it. The silhouette is arguably more wearable for everyday fits than the High for some people. Unboxing this 'Shadow' colorway, the materials felt good. On-feet, the break-in is real - they start off quite rigid. The pro here is undeniable versatility and that classic AJ1 aesthetic. The con is the lack of modern, plush cushioning. I'd recommend these to anyone building a sneaker rotation who values design history. Not for the comfort-obsessed, period. The biggest pro of this shoe is its "pure, timeless style". You can't go wrong. The cons? As I mentioned, comfort isn't its strong suit. It's a flat, firm ride. So, if you're looking for a technical performance shoe or something super cushy for all-day wear – this "Air Jordan 1 Mid" might disappoint. It's a fashion-first, lifestyle sneaker, through and through. Now, a potential con – and this is just my personal take – some sneakerheads will always prefer the "OG" High silhouette. The "Air Jordan 1 Mid" can sometimes get overlooked in the broader Jordan conversation. Also, if you have wider feet, the break-in might be a bit more noticeable. It's not a wide-foot-friendly shoe straight out of the box, in my opinion.
