First wear? They're surprisingly light for their look. The silhouette is, hands-down, one of the best ever designed. However, keeping that white patent leather clean is a "real" chore. At $225, you're paying for that iconic look. I recommend these for special occasions / or collectors. Not the best choice / if you're rough on your shoes. Alright, on foot review time. The "feel" of the Nike Air Jordan 11 is... unique. They’re not the "softest" cushioning out there today, but that full-length Air unit gives a stable, responsive ride. The patent leather wrap provides serious lockdown. Compared to, say, an AJ1, these are way more "performance-oriented" from a comfort standpoint. Just a classic, clean look on foot. Let's talk durability. The materials on this "Air Jordan 11" are top-tier. That patent leather wipe clean easy, and the outsole is solid. For a shoe you'll probably wear seasonally, it'll hold up great. A definite "pro" for the price. It doesn't feel delicate, which I appreciate. Straight up, the "Nike Air Jordan 11" is one of the most "comfortable" retros I own. This 'Bred' version looks "aggressive" and mean on foot. The lockdown is "excellent", a real "benefit" for casual wear. However, the break-in period for the collar can be "a bit" stiff. Compared to a bulkier Jordan 4, the 11 feels more streamlined. At this price point ($225), you're getting iconic style and solid comfort. I'd recommend it to most people, honestly. Only avoid if you have a "very" wide foot — it runs a tad narrow.
