Compared to some newer Jordan models, it feels heavier and less flexible. For about $180 USD, you get a durable, iconic shoe. Pros: Tough build, classic design. Cons: Stiff out-of-the-box. Great for a rotation piece, not so great as your only, all-day-every-day shoe. Putting these on... okay, immediate thoughts. The Nike Air Jordan 1 is "not" a comfort shoe. The ankle collar is stiff, the cushioning is firm – it's a classic basketball feel from the 80s. The lockdown is good, though! If you want plush, go for a newer model. But for style? Man, it's a foundation piece for any sneaker rotation. Unboxing the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low 'Starfish'. Wow, the orange is so bright and cheerful! As a Low model, it's much more of a summer / spring vibe. The feel on foot is "liberating" - no ankle collar to worry about, super easy to slip on and off. They're also lighter than the Highs, obviously. "Big plus": They're incredibly versatile for warmer weather outfits. "Drawback": You lose that iconic high-top look and ankle lockdown. At $140, I think these are perfect for someone who loves the Jordan 1 design but wants a more casual, low-profile option. Hardcore fans who only rock Highs might not be impressed. Unboxing these Jordan 1 Highs – wow, the 'Bred' colorway is "so" clean in person. That contrast is crazy. On feet, they're not the most comfortable Jordan ever – let's be real – but they're not uncomfortable, either. The ankle support is fantastic, though. A total style piece, perfect for streetwear. Just don't plan on running a marathon in them.
