Seriously, the "Air Jordan 1" is a legend. This 'Laser Blue' version adds a nice, modern twist without losing that classic soul. The construction feels durable, & I expect them to hold up well. However, the "con" is the break-in period. The heel & ankle collar can be stiff initially – "ouch" – so you gotta wear them in. Not the most comfortable shoe straight out of the box, that's for sure. Honest take? The Nike Air Jordan 1 is a must-have for any collector's foundation. It's a piece of history you can wear. The build quality on this release feels premium. However, if your main goal is supreme comfort for long walks or standing all day? Look at the Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT versions instead. This OG model is about aesthetic, first and foremost. I've been wearing this Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT for a week now. Guys – the difference is real. The moment you put it on, the Zoom Air unit in the heel is noticeable. It's still an AJ1 at heart, but for actual all-day wear? Much better. The materials are often more flexible too. You sacrifice a tiny bit of that OG structure for comfort, priced around $150 USD. I'd highly recommend these to people who love the AJ1 style but need more support. Purists who want the exact 1985 feel might want to stick with the retro OG model.
