This "Lucky Shorts" color story is a breath of fresh air. The materials are great, and the comfort is exactly what you want from a Jordan 3. It's a well-executed, special edition that doesn't feel gimmicky. Definitely a win for collectors. Comparing it to my other 3s, the 'Lucky Shorts' version holds its own. The materials are comparable to other recent Premium releases. The color-blocking is arguably more interesting than some. It doesn't have the iconic status of an OG colorway, but it has its own charm. For $210, you're paying for that design effort and the Jordan Brand premium. Alright, so the box just arrived. First look at the Nike Air Jordan 3 "Lucky Shorts"? The color-blocking is "clean". That white leather upper with the grey elephant print & that pop of green on the heel tab? It's a really balanced, wearable colorway. Initial quality feels solid right out of the box, no major flaws I can spot. On foot, the comfort is classic AJ3. The Air unit in the heel gives you that nice, cushioned feel. The fit is true to size for me – good lockdown around the midfoot. They're not the lightest sneaker, but you expect that. The "Lucky Shorts" colorway just looks "so" clean in natural light.
