It's less of a classic and more of a special edition vibe. The construction feels on par, though. The quality is there. It's just a totally different personality for this iconic model. Comparing it to my other 3s, the 'Lucky Shorts' version holds its own. The materials are comparable to other recent Premium releases. The color-blocking is arguably more interesting than some. It doesn't have the iconic status of an OG colorway, but it has its own charm. For $210, you're paying for that design effort and the Jordan Brand premium. On foot, the design really shines. The 'Lucky Shorts' colorway is versatile. That red Jumpman on the heel "pops" against the black, and the white mid-panel keeps it clean. In natural light or on camera, the materials have a great texture. It's a shoe that looks good with jeans, shorts, or joggers – a true wardrobe staple, in my opinion. Putting these "Air Jordan 3s" on... the fit is true to size for me. The leather is decent, not super plush, but it's comfortable. The ankle collar gives that classic, supportive feel. They're not the lightest shoe in the "Jordan" lineup, but you definitely feel the cushioning from that visible Air unit in the heel. It's a good, supportive base.
