First off, the box is clean, and pulling these out? The color-blocking is "seriously" nice. That white, black, and that pop of red on the heel – it's a classic AJ3 silhouette, but this 'Lucky Shorts' version feels fresh. The elephant print is crisp, and overall, the build quality looks on point right out of the gate. Comparing it to, say, a Fire Red 3, the "Lucky Shorts" is definitely more of a seasonal / standout shoe. The comfort level is identical—great for all-day wear but not for performance basketball. The green hits on the heel and insole are what you're really paying for here, that special edition feel. On foot now, and the feel is classic "Air Jordan 3". The cushioning from that visible Air unit in the heel is fantastic—it's supportive and comfortable for all-day wear. The fit is true to size for me, with a nice, secure wrap around the midfoot. They're not the lightest sneakers ever, but you expect that with this silhouette. Solid start. So, is the Air Jordan 3 "Lucky Shorts" worth the $210? For me, yes. It's a quality, comfortable shoe with a killer and unique look. It fills a specific spot in a collection. But you have to be okay with that standout green detail. It's not for every single day, but for the right days? Perfect.
