The Air unit in the heel gives you that nice, familiar cushioning. The fit is true to size for me—good lockdown around the midfoot. They're not the lightest sneakers out there, but you feel the quality. For around $210 USD, you're getting that iconic Jordan series construction and feel. Who should maybe pass? If you're buying your first-ever pair of "Jordan 3s", I'd probably point you to a more iconic colorway first, like the True Blues. Also, if you prefer super-soft, modern sneaker comfort, there are better options out there for the money. Alright, so I just got the "Nike Air Jordan 3 'Lucky Shorts'" in hand. First off, the box is clean, and pulling these out? The quality is immediately noticeable. The elephant print is crisp, and that 'Lucky Shorts' green hits different in person—it's not too loud, just a perfect accent. For a Jordan 3, the craftsmanship here feels premium right out of the gate. Comparing these to other "3s"... the materials feel pretty standard for a recent retro. They're not quite as premium as some of the older releases, but that's the norm now. The shape is good though! Compared to a "Jordan 1", these are way more comfortable for all-day wear because of that Air cushioning. It's a different kind of style, for sure.
