Breathability isn't amazing on the "Jordan 4". Your feet might get warm. Also, that outsole can be a bit slippery on super smooth surfaces initially. And like I said, the break-in period is real - don't expect instant, all-day comfort straight from the box. Comparing it to other Jordans? The Jordan 4 sits kind of in the middle. It's more structured and bulky than a Jordan 1, but it's not as high-tech or performance-oriented as, say, a Jordan 13 or later models. The toe box on the 4 is roomier than a 3, in my experience. If you're used to the sleekness of a 1, the 4 might feel a bit chunkier on your foot at first. It's its own thing. Who should skip it? If comfort is your #1 priority, be warned. Also, if you have a wider foot, the fit can be narrow in the midfoot. And if you're on a tight budget, there are more comfortable shoes for less money. This is a purchase for the design, not the tech. On foot, the design really pops. The "Jordan 4 Retro" has those signature wings and the mesh netting - it just works. This 'Fire Red' colorway is vibrant in person, way better than in pics. They look great with jeans or shorts. The shape holds up well, and they photograph amazingly for the 'gram. A true head-turner.
