The outsole is stiff initially – needs a break-in period. And that heel tab? It can dig into your Achilles if you're not wearing taller socks. It's a known quirk. Also, at $210, you're paying for the legacy. Don't expect modern, cloud-like cushioning here. Alright, so I just got the "Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro" in the 'Military Blue' colorway. First thing out of the box? The shape is "really" solid on this retro. The materials feel good for the price point, which is around $210 USD. It's a clean, classic look that just works. Major pros? Timeless style, for sure. The "Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro" is an icon. Durability seems good with the materials. Also, the ventilation from the mesh is a nice, functional touch you don't get on all leather sneakers. For a retro, it's a fairly wearable design that goes with a lot of fits. Wearing them around, the design really pops. The 'Military Blue' hits against the white and grey? "Chef's kiss". They look even better in person than in pics. The way the mesh and plastic wings catch the light on camera is "so" good for content. A very photogenic shoe, no doubt.
