It's a perfect middle-ground silhouette. It's not as comfortable as a newer "Jordan" model with Zoom, but it has way more heritage and style points, in my opinion. Comparing it to other Jordans? The Jordan 4 sits higher on the ankle than a Jordan 1, obviously. Cushioning-wise, it's firmer than a Jordan 11 or a Jordan 13. It's its own thing—a perfect blend of '80s basketball heritage and style. If you're used to newer, softer models, the 4 might feel a bit dated underfoot. Comparing it to other Jordans? The "4 Retro" is chunkier than a "Jordan 1", for sure. It's more substantial and offers a bit more tech (at least in feel) than the 1s or 3s. The ankle collar is different from the 5s... it's its own thing. In the "Jordan series", the 4 sits in a sweet spot between classic style and a slightly more modern (for its time) build. On feet, the design really works. The mesh panels and those plastic wings give it a unique, bulky-yet-sleek profile. In natural light, the grey and blue combo is versatile. This isn't a flashy shoe, but it has serious presence. It's a sneaker that gets noticed by people who know.
