.. the fit is TTS for me. The comfort is... okay? It's a retro basketball shoe, so don't expect modern foam. The cushioning is firm, but it's that familiar Jordan 4 feel. The lockdown from the laces and wings is actually really good. You feel secure. It's not a "cloud" by any means, but it's wearable for all-day casual wear. Comparing it to other Jordans? The Air Jordan 4 Retro sits differently than a Jordan 1. It's more structured and has more tech (that visible Air unit!). Versus a Jordan 3, the 4 feels a bit more rugged and less sleek. It's its own thing. If you like that late-80s, early-90s basketball design language, the Jordan 4 is a cornerstone. This retro does a solid job of capturing that original feel. On foot, the design really shines. The mesh panels and those plastic wing eyelets add great texture. In natural light, the 'Military Blue' accents against the white are "so" fresh. They look great with jeans or shorts. The Nike Air branding on the back is a nice retro touch. This colorway is versatile and just has that cool, vintage vibe going for it. Major pros for this shoe? First, the iconic style – it's a legend. Second, durability. The materials on this retro are generally tough and can take a beating. Third, that color-blocking is just classic and easy to wear. For a $210 USD price tag, you're getting a piece of sneaker history with solid everyday wearability. That's a win in my book.
