The 'Military Blue' accents against the white and grey work so well. It's not overly loud, which I like. The way the mesh and leather panels play with light is really nice in person. For a retro, the "Jordan 4" just has a presence that looks great with jeans or shorts. Very versatile style. Sliding these on? The fit is true to size for me. The comfort is... okay. It's not super plush like some modern sneakers, but it's a familiar, stable feel. The lockdown around the midfoot is good thanks to those wings. It's a bit of a heavier shoe, you definitely feel it, but it's part of that classic Jordan 4 Retro build, you know? Now, the not-so-great stuff? The toe box can feel a bit stiff and boxy at first, it needs a break-in period. Also, that nubuck gets dirty easily, so you gotta be careful. If you want a super plush, modern sneaker feel, this "Air Jordan 4" might not be for you. Comparing it to other Jordans? The "Jordan 4" sits differently than, say, a Jordan 1. It's bulkier, more of a statement. Versus a Jordan 3, the 4 has more of that technical, "machined" look with the mesh panels and plastic wings. Each has its own fan base, but the 4's unique profile is a big part of its charm, in my honest opinion.
