This Air Jordan 4 colorway is timeless. The white, grey, and blue combo works with so much. On camera, the details really pop—the netting, the heel tab. It's a shoe that has serious presence. You're wearing a piece of sneaker history, and it shows. On foot now, and the initial comfort is... okay. It's a retro, so don't expect Boost or ZoomX. The Air unit in the heel is there, but it's firm. The lockdown from the wings and laces is actually really good—my foot feels secure. For a Jordan 4, it's not too heavy. It's a comfortable shoe for casual wear, but I wouldn't run in it, obviously. The break-in period is real with these. Who should maybe skip it? If you have very wide feet, definitely try these on first. Also, if your priority is cutting-edge cushioning tech for all-day standing or sport, you might be disappointed. The $210 USD price is for the heritage and style, not for modern performance features. Comparing this 'Military Blue' Air Jordan 4 to, say, a Jordan 1? It's a totally different animal. The 4 offers more structure and that unique, bulky-yet-sleek look. Versus a Jordan 3, the 4 is less rounded and has those iconic plastic wing eyelets and mesh panels. I think the Jordan 4 has a more technical, "futuristic" (for its time) vibe. It stands out in the Jordan line for sure.
