It's more substantial than an AJ1, but often more wearable than a bulkier AJ5 or AJ6. For me, it's one of the most versatile silhouettes in the entire Jordan series. Putting these on, the fit is true to size for me. The Air Jordan 4 isn't the most cushioned shoe ever, but you definitely feel that heel Air unit. The lockdown is good, and they're not too heavy. A comfortable, classic basketball sneaker feel. Comparing it to other Jordans? The Air Jordan 4 sits in a nice middle ground. It's more substantial and has more tech (visually) than an AJ1, but it's often more wearable than the super-techy later models. The price point of $210 is pretty standard for a retro these days. You're paying for that legacy and this specific, beloved colorway. Alright, so I just got the Nike Air Jordan 4 'Military Blue' in hand, and my first thought is: the shape is "so" clean. The color blocking is classic, you know? The white, grey, and that pop of blue just work. Holding it, the materials feel good—not super premium, but solid for a $210 retro. The nubuck is nice and soft right out of the box. Let's see how it feels on foot.
