Cushioning is firmer than a Jordan 11 or 12. It's its own thing. If you like that mid-top support and a chunkier profile, this is your model. It's a definitive style within the Jordan series. On foot, the design "really" pops. The 'Military Blue' accents against the white and grey... it's a versatile, classic look. The mesh panels and those plastic wing eyelets give it that unique texture. In natural light or on camera, this colorway just works. It's not too loud, but it's definitely not boring either. On foot now. The fit is true to size for me. The cushioning is... okay. It's not super plush like modern performance shoes, but it's comfortable for all-day wear. The Air unit in the heel does its job. The lockdown from the wings is good. It's a comfortable, classic basketball sneaker feel. In natural light, this shoe looks even better. The different shades of grey and that hit of Military Blue just work. Wearing them, you feel that legacy. It's a proper Nike Air Jordan 4 experience. I'm really liking these for everyday rotation.
