It's not as plush as a well-worn AJ3, but it's more comfortable than a stiff AJ5 out of the box. The silhouette is more angular and bulky than the 1s or 3s, which is part of its charm. It's a distinct look within the "Jordan series". Now, potential cons? The toe box... it's narrow. If you have wider feet, you might need to size up or prepare for some tightness. Also, the ankle collar can rub a bit at first. It's not a "slip-on-and-forget" kind of shoe. You have to wear it in to get the best feel. Comparing these to, say, a Jordan 1? The Air Jordan 4 is a bulkier, more structured shoe. It offers way more ankle support and has that distinctive techy look. Compared to other Jordan 4s, the 'Military Blue' is up there with the 'Breds' and 'Cements' for me - it's one of the essential original colorways. Putting these Jordan 4s on... the fit is true to size for me. The upper is supportive, but I gotta say, the break-in period is real. The forefoot can feel a bit stiff initially. It's not the "most" plush Jordan out of the gate, but that's kinda expected with this model. The Air unit in the heel does its job, though.
