Those hard plastic parts "can" rub if you're not wearing the right socks. It's not the most comfortable Jordan out of the box compared to, say, a Jordan 13. So, if you want immediate cloud-like comfort, maybe look elsewhere. On feet, the design really pops. The 'Military Blue' hits against the white and grey work so well. In natural light, the details like the mesh netting and the heel tab stand out. It's a shoe that gets compliments, for sure. Compared to a bulkier Jordan 5 or a lower-cut Jordan 1, the AJ4 has a unique, chunky-yet-sleek profile that I personally dig. In summary, the Nike Air Jordan 4 delivers on its legacy. Great looks, decent comfort, and timeless style. It's not a perfect performance shoe today, but as a lifestyle icon? It's absolutely still at the top of its game. A solid cop. Now, a potential con? The toe box can be a bit stiff and boxy for some foot shapes. It might require a break-in period. Also, the traction on super smooth surfaces isn't the best. It's a lifestyle shoe first, so don't expect elite court performance from this retro.
