Durability is a big plus – the materials can take a beating. The style is unmatched; it's a sneaker that always gets compliments. For $210, it's a fair price for a piece of sneaker history. The Nike Air Jordan 4 just has that presence. Comparing it to my other Jordans, the 4 sits uniquely. It's bulkier than a 3, more structured than a 5. It has its own identity in the Jordan series lineage. The price is consistent with other retros. It's a foundational sneaker in any collection. On foot now, and the initial comfort is... okay. It's a retro, so don't expect Boost or ZoomX. The Air unit in the heel is there, but it's firm. The lockdown from the wings and laces is actually really good—my foot feels secure. For a Jordan 4, it's not too heavy. It's a comfortable shoe for casual wear, but I wouldn't run in it, obviously. The break-in period is real with these. On feet, the 'Military Blue' colorway looks even better. The contrast with the black accents and grey mesh is just "so" good in natural light. It's a shoe that works with almost anything—jeans, shorts, you name it. The design is busy in a good way, with all those panels and the plastic wing eyelets.
