It's a straightforward, well-executed retro. The Jordan series has many highs, and this is one of them. Would I recommend it? Yes, especially if you dig the colorway. It's a versatile addition to any rotation. On feet, walking around? The "Nike Air Jordan 4" has a distinct, slightly stiff feel at first. The Air unit in the heel is there, but it's more about impact protection than bounce. The shoe isn't heavy, but you feel its presence. Break-in is real with these; they'll get more comfortable with wear, I can already tell. Comparing it to other Jordans? The Air Jordan 4 sits lower and feels more grounded than an AJ1. It's also less bulky than an AJ5. For $210, you're getting a piece of history with a very distinct, blocky silhouette that the Jordan series is famous for. It's a different vibe entirely from a Jordan 11, for example. Putting these Jordan 4s on... the fit is true to size for me. The support around the ankle is fantastic—really locks you in. The Air unit in the heel? You feel it, but it's not super plush like some modern sneakers. It's a firm, supportive cushioning that I actually prefer for all-day wear.
