The support is better for me than a Jordan 5. It's a great middle-ground model in the Jordan series. Each has its vibe, but the 4 is iconic. Putting these on... the fit is true to size for me. The "Air Jordan 4" has a bit of a break-in period, honestly. Initial step-in comfort is okay—you definitely feel that heel Air unit—but the forefoot is a little firm out of the box. The lockdown from the wings and laces is good, though. They're not the lightest shoe, but you feel that sturdy construction. On foot, the design really pops. The mesh panels and plastic detailing on this 'Military Blue' pair have great contrast. They look even better in person than in pics. The shape is bulky in a good way—it gives you that classic, athletic look. The Nike Air branding on the heel is a perfect finish. A very photogenic sneaker, for sure. Putting these on... the fit is true to size for me. The forefoot lockdown is good, but the ankle collar? It's a bit stiff initially, like most 4s. The Air Sole unit gives you that familiar, firm cushioning—it's not super plush, but it's reliable for all-day wear. Definitely a comfortable sneaker.
