The contrast with the black accents and grey mesh is just "chef's kiss". They look even better in natural light than in the box. This is a shoe that gets noticed. If you're into that retro basketball aesthetic, this colorway is a must-have. It's a straight-up classic. Putting these Jordan 4s on... the fit is true to size for me. The upper is supportive, but I gotta say, the break-in period is real. The forefoot can feel a bit stiff initially. It's not the "most" plush Jordan out of the gate, but that's kinda expected with this model. The Air unit in the heel does its job, though. Who are these for? If you're a fan of classic Jordan series silhouettes and want a durable, statement sneaker, this is it. Great for collectors or anyone wanting to add a piece of sneaker history to their rotation. The Air Jordan 4, especially in a OG colorway like this, is always a solid choice. On foot now, and the initial comfort is... okay. It's a retro, so don't expect Boost or ZoomX. The Air unit in the heel is there, but it's firm. The lockdown from the wings and laces is actually really good—my foot feels secure. For a Jordan 4, it's not too heavy. It's a comfortable shoe for casual wear, but I wouldn't run in it, obviously. The break-in period is real with these.
