.. okay. It's a retro, so don't expect Boost or ZoomX. The Air unit in the heel is there, but it's firm. The lockdown from the wings and laces is actually really good—my foot feels secure. For a Jordan 4, it's not too heavy. It's a comfortable shoe for casual wear, but I wouldn't run in it, obviously. The break-in period is real with these. Comparing it to other Jordans? The "Jordan 4" sits right between the AJ3 and AJ5 for me. It's got more structure than the 3, but it's not as tech-heavy or angular as the 5. If you like a shoe with presence and a defined heel, this is your jam. The "Nike Air Jordan 4" really holds its own in the lineage. On feet, the design "really" pops. The 'Military Blue' hits against the grey and white is a timeless combo. They look great in motion and photograph even better. That mesh netting and the plastic wing eyelets give it so much texture. The "Nike Air Jordan 4" just has a presence that few other sneakers can match, in my opinion. Sliding my foot into this "Air Jordan 4"... initial thoughts? The fit is true to size for me. The lockdown around the midfoot from those plastic wings is "immediate" and really secure. It's not a super plush, modern feel—you definitely feel the firmness of the midsole. But hey, that's part of the classic Jordan DNA, right?
