The "Nike Air Jordan 4" is an icon. Durability seems good, and the colorway versatility is huge. That secure, locked-in fit is a big plus. For a retro, it does its job well: looks awesome and feels authentically 1989. Now, a potential con? The comfort. If you're used to modern, foam-based sneakers, these might feel a bit stiff and heavy at first. They need a brief break-in period. Also, that ankle collar can rub if you wear low-cut socks. It's not for everyone, especially if all-day, cloud-like comfort is your top priority. Putting these Air Jordan 4s on... the fit is true to size for me. The lockdown around the midfoot is good, thanks to those plastic wing eyelets. They're not the lightest shoe, you definitely feel the structure, but it's a comfortable, supportive feel. The air unit in the heel? You can feel it, but it's more about stability than crazy cushioning. Now, a potential con: the toe box. It can crease pretty noticeably. Also, that firm midsole isn't for everyone—if you're on your feet all day, you might want more cushion. The price, $210, is steep for the tech you're getting. Just being real with you guys.
