The cushioning is "old-school"—firm, not bouncy. The materials are functional, not exceptional. At $200 USD, you're paying for the "silhouette" and brand. If cutting-edge comfort or premium builds are your priority, look elsewhere within the Jordan series. Comparing it to other Jordans... it's definitely more understated than a Jordan 1 or 4. The comfort, in my experience, is better than a flat-footed Jordan 1 Low but doesn't have the plush feel of something like a Jordan 13.
