You lose some ankle support, but you gain a lot in versatility for everyday style. Versus something like a Jordan 4 or 5, the 6 Low is often more affordable and easier to just throw on and go. It's a great entry point into the Jordan series if you're new. On foot now, and I gotta say, the comfort is pretty decent right out of the box. The cushioning from the Air unit is there—it's not super plush like some modern shoes, but it's comfortable for all-day wear. The fit is true to size for me, with a nice, secure lockdown around the midfoot. The low-cut design definitely offers more ankle mobility compared to the OG highs. On-foot, the design really shines. The 'Infrared' hits pop against the black nubuck, and the low-cut profile makes them super versatile. You can style these with jeans, shorts, whatever. Compared to the bulky AJ6 high, this Low version is much sleeker. It's a great summer shoe or just a daily driver. They look even better in natural light than in the box, honestly. On foot now, and the comfort is... okay. It's not the most plush Jordan out there, for sure. The cushioning is firm, but it's stable. The fit is true to size for me, with a good lockdown around the midfoot. The weight is nice and light, which I always appreciate in a low-top. For casual wear, it's perfectly fine. It's a classic, you know what you're getting.
