It occupies a cool middle ground. Within the "Jordan 6" family itself, the low-top version loses some of the iconic, protective feel of the high but gains in everyday wearability. It's a different experience. For $200 USD, you're paying for the design heritage and versatility more than cutting-edge features. On feet, the design really pops. The 'Infrared' hits on the midsole and heel tab are iconic. I think the "Air Jordan 6 Low" works better for everyday style than the high-top version for a lot of people. It's less bulky visually. The color blocking is simple but effective, making it easy to match with different outfits. It's a versatile look. Alright, so I just got the "Nike Air Jordan 6 Low" in the 'Infrared' colorway. First thing out of the box? The shape is classic, man. The build quality feels solid, and that Infrared pop against the black nubuck is just iconic. It's a clean, low-top take on a legendary silhouette, and honestly, it looks even better in hand than in pictures. For around $200 USD, the presentation is on point. Comparing it to other Jordans? The Air Jordan 6 Low sits differently than the high-top version, obviously. You lose some ankle support, but you gain a lot in versatility for everyday style. Versus something like a Jordan 4 or 5, the 6 Low is often more affordable and easier to just throw on and go. It's a great entry point into the Jordan series if you're new.
