The higher cut gives good ankle "presence". The 'Infrared' colorway is versatile; it goes with a lot of fits. In different lighting, the nubuck texture and those reflective accents on the lace lock really stand out. It's a shoe that looks better in person than in pics, honestly. Now, a potential con: the weight. These aren't heavy, but they're not feather-light either. If you're used to ultra-boost type shoes, you'll feel the difference. Also, that padded tongue and collar can feel a bit warm in summer. It's a trade-off for that iconic look and ankle comfort. Who should maybe skip it? If you prioritize ultimate comfort above all else, look at newer models. The Air Jordan 6 cushioning is dated. Also, if you have very narrow feet, the fit might feel a bit roomy in the toe box. It's not the most performance-oriented retro out there. Wearing them around the house, the weight is noticeable—they're not the lightest shoes in my collection. But that substantial feel adds to the premium impression. Visually, the design is so clean and graphic. Compared to, say, an Air Jordan 1, the Jordan 6 has a more technical, structured look that really stands out in person and on foot.
