.. The Air Jordan 6 sits higher off the ground than a Jordan 4, in my opinion. The tongue design is unique with those two holes. Comfort-wise, I'd say it's similar to a Jordan 5—good for casual wear, but maybe not for all-day walking marathons. It's a distinct feel in the Jordan series. Comparing it to other Jordans? The "Jordan 6" is less bulky than a 4 or 5, but it's not as streamlined as a 1 or 3. The cushioning is firmer than, say, a Jordan 11 or 13. It's its own thing. If you like that late-80s/early-90s Tinker Hatfield design language, you'll dig this model from the Jordan series. Who should maybe skip it? If you prioritize ultimate comfort above all else, look at newer models. Performance basketball players, obviously, should avoid. And if you're on a tight budget, waiting for a sale on this $200 USD shoe isn't a bad idea. It's an investment in style, not necessarily in groundbreaking comfort. On feet, the design just works. The Infrared colorway is iconic for a reason - it looks great in person and on camera. The perforations and those plastic lace locks add so much detail. Compared to, say, a Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 6 has a much bulkier, 90s basketball silhouette. It's a statement piece, not a sleek, low-profile sneaker.
