The outsole is a dust magnet, seriously. And like I said, if you're used to modern Zoom Air or Boost, the Air-Sole unit in here will feel basic. It's not a performance shoe anymore. The tongue can also be a bit bulky under pants. So, if cutting-edge comfort is your top priority, the "Air Jordan 6" might not be your first pick. Big pro? The durability. The materials on this Nike Air Jordan 6 are tough. That nubuck upper should hold up great. The lockdown from the lace system is excellent—your foot isn't going anywhere. For a retro, it's built well. The iconic look is, of course, the biggest advantage here. Comparing it to other Jordans? The "Jordan 6" is less bulky than a 4 or 5, but it's not as streamlined as a 1 or 3. The cushioning is firmer than, say, a Jordan 11 or 13. It's its own thing. If you like that late-80s/early-90s Tinker Hatfield design language, you'll dig this model from the Jordan series. Putting these on... the fit is pretty true to size for me. The Air Jordan 6 has a unique feel. It's not the plushest cushioning in the Jordan series, but that Air-Sole unit in the heel gives you a decent, firm comfort. The ankle collar provides good lockdown, which I always appreciate for casual wear.
