Initial step-in is comfortable. The Air-Sole unit provides decent cushioning right away. The fit is snug, true to size for me. The padded collar? It locks your ankle in nicely. Honestly, the Nike Air Jordan 6 isn't the "lightest" shoe, but it doesn't feel bulky either. It's a good, supportive feel for casual wear or light ball. On feet, the design is just timeless. The 'Infrared' hits on the midsole and the tongue tab are so vibrant. They look even better in person than in pictures. The way the light catches the materials? "Chef's kiss". This is a shoe that gets compliments every time I wear it out. Who should maybe skip it? If you prioritize maximum comfort and a pillowy step above all else, look at newer tech. Also, if you have very wide feet, definitely try before you buy. This isn't the most forgiving fit. It's a specific feel that not every foot will love. Comparing it to other Jordans? The Jordan 6 sits higher than a 1 or 3. The cushioning is firmer than a Jordan 11 or 13, for sure. You get Air-Sole units, but it's more about court feel than plush comfort. It's a different era of basketball shoe tech, and that shows.
