For the price, you get a well-built, legendary sneaker. Is it the most comfortable shoe in my closet? No. But does it make me smile every time I put it on? Absolutely. It's a solid addition that holds its value and its style. On feet, the design really pops. The 'Infrared' hits on the midsole and lace lock are so vibrant in person. The high-cut design makes your legs look good. Compared to, say, an Air Jordan 1, the AJ6 has way more of a 90s basketball profile. It's a statement piece for sure, not a low-key sneaker. Comparing it to, say, an Air Jordan 1 or 4, the Air Jordan 6 is noticeably more of a "tank." It's structured and has more of a protective feel. The toe box isn't as narrow as some earlier Js, which is a plus for wider feet. It's a different kind of comfort—more about support than sink-in softness. Who should maybe skip it? If you're buying "only" for all-day, cloud-like comfort, look at newer models. The Air Jordan 6 isn't uncomfortable, but it's not its main selling point. Also, if you prefer low-top sneakers, the higher cut here might not be your thing.
