It lives up to the hype for me. The looks, the build, the history - it all comes together. Is it the most comfortable shoe in my collection? No. But is it one of the coolest? Absolutely. For the right person, it's a must-have. Comparing it to other Jordans? The Air Jordan 6 sits higher off the ground than a Jordan 1, for sure. It's more of a mid-top feel. Cushioning is different too - less board-like than a 1, but also not as soft as something like a Jordan 13. It's its own thing. If you like that late 80s/early 90s basketball shoe aesthetic, this is a prime example. Who should maybe skip it? If you prioritize maximum comfort and a pillowy step above all else, look at newer tech. Also, if you have very wide feet, definitely try before you buy. This isn't the most forgiving fit. It's a specific feel that not every foot will love. Putting these on... the fit is pretty true to size for me. The Air Jordan 6 has a unique feel. It's not the plushest cushioning in the Jordan series, but that Air-Sole unit in the heel gives you a decent, firm comfort. The ankle collar provides good lockdown, which I always appreciate for casual wear.
