Rare air jordan 1 : Who should "avoid" these? If you're your "first" Jordan 1, I'd maybe recommend a true OG high for that authentic experience [mbrjrify]

Also, if you "strictly" love the 1985 blueprint, the changes here might bug you. It's not for purists, and that's "okay"! It carves its own lane. On foot, the silhouette is killer. It pairs so easily with jeans, joggers, you name it. I love that it has the iconic high-top look but sometimes comes with "perforations or mesh panels" for better breathability than a standard all-leather AJ1. That’s a practical upgrade a lot of people don't talk about! Who are these for? If you love the Jordan 1 look but want something a bit under the radar and easy on the wallet, this is your shoe. Also great for collectors who want every iteration of the Jordan series. The 'Nike Air' branding is a nice throwback touch. Honestly, for $150, it's hard to argue against having these in the rotation. Comparing these directly to my other Jordans: the Rare Air Jordan 1 lacks that heavy, substantial feel. The outsole is thinner, the leather is different. It's not a bad thing – it's just different. The upside? Break-in time is almost zero. Downside? Long-term durability might not be the same. It's a lifestyle shoe first. If you want a true basketball "experience", look at the Retros.
