If the "Nike Air" branding and top-tier leather are non-negotiable for you, skip these and save for a retro release. Also, if ultimate cushioning is your goal, other Jordan models or modern performance shoes are better. On foot now, and the comfort is decent right out of the box. The cushioning is there, but it's not super plush like some modern retros. The fit is true to size for me, with a good lockdown around the midfoot. They're not heavy at all, which is great for all-day wear. The Rare Air Jordan 3 does the job for casual comfort, but don't expect groundbreaking, cloud-like feel from these. Now, a potential con: the outsole is solid rubber, not translucent. Some folks prefer that icy blue bottom. Also, if you're a total OG spec head, the missing "Nike Air" might bug you. For me, it's not a dealbreaker, but it's worth noting for this particular Rare Air edition. In summary: The rare air jordan 3 gets a thumbs up from me for everyday use. It's not the most hype release, but it's a reliable, stylish sneaker. If you see it on sale? It becomes an even easier recommendation. Just know what you're getting - a solid, simplified version of an icon.
