.. first impression? It's "super" clean. The white, grey, and varsity red – it's a classic combo. You "immediately" notice the perforated upper panels — that's the big 'Rare Air' design cue. For $220, the initial quality feels solid. It's a sharp look right out of the box, honestly. Putting them on my feet was... interesting. The weight is the first thing you'll notice – these are significantly lighter than a retro Jordan 4. The lack of some of the classic overlays changes the feel. It's still a comfortable shoe, but the overall structure and "support" feel... simplified. A definite trade-off for that lighter feel. Unboxing these, the first thing I noticed was the weight—or lack thereof! The rare air jordan 4 uses more mesh & it's noticeably lighter than my retro 4s. On foot, the comfort is good, not amazing... it's a firm, supportive ride. Perfect if you want that iconic Jordan 4 look without the heaviness. A solid alternative at $210 USD. Now, a potential con: that firm cushioning. If you're used to super plush, modern sneaker tech, the Rare Air Jordan 4 might feel stiff. It’s not a performance shoe—it's for style. Also, hardcore Jordan collectors might skip it because it's not a direct OG retro. It’s a different type of release, which some won't prefer.
