The materials feel great for a GR (General Release). Durability seems high; the nubuck should hold up well. And of course, it's a classic Jordan 4 silhouette. For collectors and UNC fans, this is a must-have. It's a piece of basketball and sneaker history, right there. Major pros? The color is undeniable. It's a beautiful shoe. The build quality is good, and it's a timeless silhouette that never goes out of style. As a fan of the Jordan series, this is a must-have if you love Carolina blue or Tar Heels lore. It's a straightforward, well-executed retro. Comparing it to other 4s? The shape is on point, better than some recent retros. The materials feel nicer than, say, a standard Military Blue. But it's not as comfortable as the newer, more tech-heavy Jordan models. You're buying this for the style and the story, not for groundbreaking cushioning. Let's talk looks. In hand, the UNC Air Jordan 4 is beautiful. On foot? Even better. That blue against the grey midsole and black accents is "perfection". It photographs incredibly well. Compared to my other 4s, this one feels more "complete" as a color story. It's instantly iconic, in my opinion.
