The leather feels nicer than on some recent retro releases. Versus a dunk low? The "wmns air jordan 1 low" has a slightly more elongated toe box & a different ankle collar shape. It's a subtler, arguably more refined everyday option in my opinion. Sizing note "quickly": I went with my usual size in women's for this "wmns Air Jordan 1 Low", and the fit is perfect. The SE doesn't change the last. The toe box has decent room. Remember, it's a women's model, so men should convert accordingly. On foot, the break-in is minimal; they're comfortable for what they are— a classic-style sneaker. Don't expect Ultra Boost levels of softness, but for walking around town? They're absolutely "fine". After wearing these for a bit, the break-in is noticeable. They become more comfortable, but never "plush." The major "advantage" here is the classic design language of the "Jordan series". The "possible downside"? The fit can be a bit narrow for some. If you have wider feet, maybe consider sizing up. It's a typical AJ1 quirk. Now, a potential con: If you need major cushioning or arch support, look elsewhere. The footbed is pretty standard. Also, being a WMNS release, size availability for bigger feet can be tricky. That's just the reality with this specific model.
