Hardcore fans who only love the OG colorways might see this as "too different." And if your budget is tight, that $225 price tag is a real factor to consider. Comparing it to my other 11s... the pearlized leather is softer to the touch than standard patent. It's less "plastic-y." The overall color palette is softer, too - less contrast than a 'Space Jam.' It feels like a "finale", a celebratory version. A really nice capstone to the year for Jordan Brand, in my opinion. Now, a potential con: the patent leather is still prone to creasing. If that’s a major hang-up for you, know that going in. Also, for some, the $225 price tag for a mostly white/grey shoe might feel steep. Personally, I think the unique finish justifies it, but it’s "not" an essential grab for casual fans. On foot now. The feel is "exactly" what you expect from an 11: supportive, a great heel lockdown, and that iconic carbon fiber plate. The "Pearl Grand Finale" colorway is so clean in person—way brighter than in pics. If you love a crisp, all-white(ish) sneaker with heritage, this is a top-tier option, no question.
